Job Description

Mechanical Engineer specializing in design and shop drawings focuses on the creation and detailing of mechanical systems, HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting in construction projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of mechanical systems including: (HVAC systems Plumbing systems Firefighting systems)
Perform mechanical calculations such as cooling load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and pump head calculations
Develop detailed design drawings using Revit (MEP) and AutoCAD
Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals
Coordinate with electrical, architectural, and structural teams

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design within a consulting firm
Strong proficiency in Revit (MEP) and AutoCAD
Proven experience in mechanical design and shop drawing review
Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems
Excellent coordination and communication skills
