Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven BIM Manager to lead the Building Information Modeling processes across high-profile projects within our consultancy and project management teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing BIM strategies, ensuring coordination across all design disciplines, and promoting digital transformation within the project delivery cycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BIM strategies across various projects.
- Prepare and update BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in coordination with project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, BS1192).
- Oversee BIM activities throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Manage multidisciplinary BIM teams (Architecture, Structure, MEP).
- Ensure coordination between all disciplines to minimize clashes and discrepancies.
- Review and approve BIM models submitted by consultants and contractors.
- Maintain high standards of model quality and ensure they meet project requirements.
- Conduct model audits and implement quality control procedures.
- Manage structured data delivery and ensure proper data handover (e.g., COBie).
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Communicate the value of BIM and provide technical solutions to challenges.
- Coordinate effectively with all project teams to ensure successful BIM integration.
- Train and support internal teams on BIM tools and workflows (Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
- Develop and maintain internal BIM guidelines and standards.
- Evaluate team performance and provide technical assistance when needed.
- Generate regular reports on modeling progress and coordination activities.
- Document all BIM-related phases across the project lifecycle.
- Provide updates and performance reports to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor`s degree in Architecture Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in BIM management.
- Proven experience in consultancy and/or project management environments.
- Strong portfolio in managing BIM across different project types (e.g., infrastructure, buildings, mixed-use developments).
- Proficient in BIM tools: Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360/ACC.
- Solid knowledge of Clash Detection, Model Coordination, and Data Management.
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDEs) and international BIM standards (ISO 19650, BS1192).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
